Etaera Portals are time-bending rips in space fabric, seemingly only opened and previously located on the respective planet. These portals were last found on the planet nearly 60 years before the main storyline takes place. Research on the physicality, creation, and recreation of these windows through dimensions has been poorly documented by old-age scientists, with the exception of Drell Coomer and his theory of Hangwire Reality. Flinto Hark's tragic childhood accident is directly related to one of these early openings. Hark's obsession with the recreation of dimensional drifting has driven him to years of extensive investigation regarding them.
